Market Day

Bourke Street Bakery, Surry Hills
In 3 dot points:
-tiny space in a quiet corner, yet so popular the line goes outside. Amazingly, the wait was STILL short.
-smells yummy mmm
-PASTRIES = GOLDEN HEAVEN. Favourite? Peach gallette. onomnomnom...and good coffee too.

Vanity Fair, Paddington
-HEH. *u*
-cool retro music = great atmosphere
-cheap vintage goodies and beautiful threads

Bought:

Young Australian Designers Market, Paddington
-WAHH PRO
-air conditioner is bliss
-stupid stallholder yelled at me for taking a picture of one of their things. WELL I'M SORRY FOR BEING FASCINATED AND INNOCENTLY TAKING A PICTURE. No need to YELL geez what's your problem?! You completely humiliated/scared/angered/depressed me for quite a while afterwards which was quite unnecessary. Be nice. I'm a customer, not a criminal. And I'm also a kid. So lay off. Screw you.

On another note, bought a pretty floral dress from a MUCH nicer stall

Glebe Markets, Glebe
-consistently awesome
-you gotta love those rainbow gates :)
-what's there not to like? it has goodies at every corner + mostly cheap + fun labynrith + good atmosphere

Bought:
-cotton shorts, Kuto
-owl ring + camera necklace
-beige cordoroy shorts, Sass and Bide

JunkTique, Glebe
Bought a much-needed desk chair, antique wood
I named it "Fluffy". I don't know why.

Anyways. Had a brilliant day, plus it didn't even rain! I learnt that people who are complete strangers can impact you greatly just by speaking a few words. Nice people make you feel happy, but un-nice people can really scar you for a while. Like the lady at the crossing near our school who yelled at me and a few friends one afternoon for not walking to the side enough, supposedly making us "incredibly rude" == pssht. and you're not rude? what a hypocretin. (ie a hypocrite who is also a cretin ^-^)
