when i try to do a kick, i always fall down

Q: How do you make a sausage roll?
A: Push it!!

hahahaha

This week has been pretty eventful!

Some interesting things that have occurred:
-made a sausage joke in front of the whole assembly to promote a tutor stall... and it worked! see above
-did a scary improvised solo at Bands Concert...outdoors!! with my science teacher in the audience!
-my dog pissed on the floor at puppy school...shame
-cut up lots of onions without crying
-became a walking sausage sizzle...well, I smelt like one...
-met Kath for the first time in ages!
-finally able do the jazz routine!! except i kept falling over and hurting myself in hip hop and in kicks. =.=
-went to the opera house
-made 25 lolly bags (thanks amanda!)
-used wooden pegs and massive bulldog clips to hold flying band music to a music stand...weird
-decorated my wall
-drank easy way with my mum
-got an invisible stamp on my hand...?
-found out that i am a millimetre taller than my mum!!! YAY
-got a real stamp on my hand! (it said good work and had a purple tomato on it!)
-spontaneously blabbed about philosophy to cover up for talking too much
-rediscovered my love for cadbury cherry ripes and turkish delights...although not many other people like it...mmm cherry ripes...<3

Monday, November 22

when the wind blows...my scraps of paper for the stupid english collage goes flying around the room. =.=

This week has been extremely stressful. And guess what? It's only Monday. =.=
Why do we have stupid massive projects in the last weeks of school? Do the teachers have a really sick sense of humour or something? It's not funny. No one is laughing.

Stayed up last night until midnight doing a stupid collage that looks really crappy like it was done by a kindergardener (is that how you spell it??). No offence intended to kindergardeners.

I want to walk down this road and run away from wherever i am right now.

I have also just spent the morning shifting through google pages looking for SAUSAGE JOKES. haha. how sad.

On another note, on saturday night, I looked at the clock and saw that it was 7 pm. While my friends were watching Harry Potter 7 part 1 in IMAX...........i was washing dishes.

*bell rings* back to reality.

hype this instead!

heh. changed it.

so today's freezing. really freezing. HUDDLE!!! seriously! the penguins have got it right. :)

Wednesday, November 17

so i guess that means they are sheep then

Today = peer leader training day

Some positive feedback for the day:
-i didn't really know what to expect, but it turned out really fun, the peoples were all really nice and i actually learnt stuff/made me want to improve and be better!
-we ALMOST missed all our classes...except...maths.
-we wore mufti!
-the doughnuts were really sugar-y and UBER yummy!
-i didn't drop the ball too many times in the ball game, PLUS I didn't even get whacked in the face!

Random thoughts:
-the way we "weren't allowed to go near the yr 7s until we were checked" made us sound like we were about to meet a bunch of timid animals or something
-reminiscing about the days where WE were the ones getting lost looking for classes ... like sheep
-and we are outnumbered...like there are two yr 10 shephards/sheep dogs per 10 yr 7 sheep

On a separate note, it's almost holidays, so i made a list. Very exciting. Also copying a certain uber cool and arty friend who shall remain nameless but knows exactly who they are...yes, you.

Here's some of it:
-read Austen's sense and sensibility...its been collecting dust for a bit more than a year now. It's just...so hard to digest...
-Host a clothes swap day!
-Bake festive Christmas cookies and share with friends
-Wear a dress at least once a week
-Go to at least two out of: Glebe, Paddington or Rozelle markets
-use the vintage kodak flash bantam camera!

Happy almost-end of term. Thank goodness for holidays.

my rant for today

Let's not beat around in the bush. I'm just going to jump in at the deep end and SAY it:

WHAT IS "BLUE" FLAVOUR?!

And what the freak is "Coke" flavour? Or perhaps, "Bubblegum" flavour?

Society has become so thick-skinned that we are completely oblivious to this MASSIVE conundrum (aka a "conudjum" ^.^) "Coke" or "Cola" flavour has become so imbedded in our brains that we don't even bother asking, what the hell is Cola flavour? At least we know that "lemonade" is supposed to be ... well, lemonade. But "Cola" is just ... "Cola". O_O

And today, I saw my brother eating 5 gum. I pestered him and whined, "Why didn't you offer ME some??". He said, "Okay, do you want some?"
"What flavour is it?"
"Bubblegum."

Now let's look at this. Bubble gum flavour. It's this sickly sweet, 100% artificial colouring and flavouring mystery taste. And obviously, the only product that is ever flavoured with the lovely artificial-ness of bubblegum is gum. Bubble gum flavoured bubblegum. You chew it, but what the hell is it?! Hmm. What genius made that up??
So I asked my brother.
"Bubblegum is just bubblegum. But sometime's it's strawberry."
Words from the horse's mouth.

And let's not forget

BLUE.

It's not even blueberry. It's just BLUE. Which is a colour. Of the sky. And the closest we get to an explanation is frigging "blue FREEZE" or "blue ice" or something like that. I want an explanation! Drinks should not be flavoured as colours!! Blue is blue is blue is blue!! WHAT THE F?!?! Someone please tell me
WHAT IS BLUE!?

*end of rant*

so how is everyone?

Tuesday, November 9

it was a wonderful morning

Chelsea Antique Markets, New York

I think vintage markets have a special smell. Kind of musky, dusty, woody, just vintagey. yeah, kind of random. don't look at me like that. It was really nice to spend a few hours wandering through vintage clothes, jewellery, paintings, even guitars, knives and compasses. And...........I bought a vintage camera! $35!! O.O

It looked like this:

omg...hyperventilate. so many vintage cameras!!!

vintage disney!

i nearly died when i saw this vintage toy piano. ring any bells? clue: shroeder from peanuts. or maybe i'm the only fan of the charlie brown and snoopy crowd.

no, this isn't the one i have. but good guess.

ahhh vintage records!! here's a beatles classic. and now...voila! my new vintage camera!!
